David Frommer

David Frommer has been a Gilbert & Sullivan enthusiast since the age of six, when he and his sister, Kate, produced the Mikado, directing a cast of more than fifty of their stuffed animals in their living room at home. Growing up in Manhattan, David and his family "orfen" attended the performances of New York's Gilbert & Sullivan Players, where they laughed louder than anyone else in the audience. In college, David belonged to Yale University's Gilbert & Sullivan Society, and appeared in Patience, as well as two G&S cabarets evenings. Having finished a volunteer tour of duty in the IDF with the Machal program, David is currently in Jerusalem for the year, pursuing a degree in Cantorial Studies at Hebrew Union College. He is excited to once again connect with his aesthetic side in Patience, and hopes to see more shows when he returns to Israel on visits in the future.
